We're on the hunt for a new MDM Sys Admin for one of our Global Support Services teams in Romania working on maintaining our MDM platform (MaaS 360), owning things like Platform Availability, Policy Config, onboarding new studies within the platform, troubleshooting any issues raised by both clients and internal stake holders.

You should have both technical and administrative roles where they help track technical problems, perform incident management, and control the quality of service. The role is situated in the senior Infrastructure Support area interacting with both R&D and the actual platform vendor as escalation points.

As part of our team, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Establish and refine the delivery processes. The goal of streamlining these processes and procedures is to ensure that each stakeholder and client receives the correct level of service. Establish Delivery Processes.
  • Play a great role when it comes to managing any incidents to resolution. It is the responsibility of the MDM System Administrator to assure timely resolution to any of the platform related incidents by either providing fixes or by leasing with R&D or the Vendor to obtain resolution support.
  • Make sure the environment is clean and any new studies are onboarded within the platform in the correct area, the right policies are pushed to devices while also making sure any of the closed studies are being archived/removed from the platform according to the process.
  • Make sure only authorized people are accessing the environment and the individual level of access is not above each role – the MDM System Administrator will work with our internal Stake Holders and define a RBAC type of Access Management. Working with our internal User Access Management Team the MDM Sys Admin will establish a good process for requesting access plus any other related processes like regular Access review activities.
  • As the platform will grow and develop according to our Business Strategy the MDM System Administrator should keep track of all the improvement requests coming from our internal stakeholders and also working closely with Product Management teams to make sure the MDM environment can accommodate new requirements/products.

You’ll need to bring:

  • Relevant MDM Software experience with any of the MDM Solutions on the market (MS Intune, Mobile Iron, MaaS 360 etc)
  • Good understanding of the MS Windows Server environment
  • Understanding the network layer is also relevant to the role when it comes to troubleshooting Neworking
  • Relevant experience in working/troubleshooting cloud environments and SaaS solutions (Cloud and SaaS)
  • Experience deploying and managing IT solutions in large scale environment (500+ endpoints)
  • Knowledge and experience in working with Active Directory, SSCM and Asset Management tools
