The Scale Management Lead facilitates the delivery of the scale management service including pre-award scoping, post-award identification and acquisition of clinical instruments (e.g.scales) and their associated translations.

Scale Management Lead is directly involved in complex projects and/or is required to oversee the progress and evolution of Scale Management service performed by Senior / Scale Management Associates.

We're on the hunt for a new Scale Management Associate for one of our Global Support Services teams in Romania working on the Operations area of the business. The position gives you a great view on how scale services are designed. Prior knowledge of handling multi and complex tasks, on a volume of projects would be advantageous.

As part of our team, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Support on-boarding of new Scale Management team members within the department
  • Assist in training new employees, from all sides of the business, on the Scale Management Service
  • Point person for Senior and Scale Management Associates
  • Assist Manager with process improvements
  • Assist in research for business development requests for potential projects
  • Work and communicate effectively with authors and copyright holders as necessary for licensing clinical instruments (master English as well as associated, commercially available translations), ensuring all requirements for electronic implementation are included
  • Directly lead or oversee the management of licensing timelines against project timelines, communicating status updates to project teams
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Legal; Finance) to finalize licenses, approve and track invoices
  • Lead research of clinical instruments, helping maintain the Solution Library
  • Work in a team environment and independently, as required
  • Involved in external communication with customers, as required. Act as active partner to Business Development teams in pre-sales/Rfp stages including Bid Defense meetings active involvement.

You’ll need to bring:

  • Support to deliver client’s projects;
  • Support for Business Development scoping requests as needed;
  • The role provides guidance to and works collaboratively with others, such as Business Development, Solution Services, project teams, Legal and Finance to deliver identification and acquisition of clinical instruments
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision;
  • Motivation, innovation, and proactiveness;
  • Professional communication skills, written and verbal in English;
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask, set priorities and work on multiple projects;
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
  • Effective problem-solving skills;
  • Willingness to learn;
  • Must be a team-oriented person with a “can do” attitude.

Desirable:

  • Familiar with clinical trials, health outcomes and validated questionnaires
  • Familiar with contracts
  • Translation/language knowledge
