The Role

We have an excellent career opportunity for a Manufacturing Technician / Scientist to join our team.

In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the manufacturing of Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs) within a cleanroom environment, according to set procedures, batch manufacturing records and protocols.

Task will include maintenance and housekeeping of Grade C and D cleanrooms and grade A isolators. Management of materials and issuance of documentation to support batch manufacturing.

Setup and use of key equipment including mixing vessels, tablet presses, wet and dry granulators, milling machines, isolators amongst others. Training will be provided on GMP and for the use of any new equipment or procedure.

Manufacturing scientists are required to take on study/client responsibilities. The position is open to entry level candidates.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • A scientific / technical degree and some relevant work experience. Or experience working within a GMP Clean room, pilot plant or similar environment such as the Food industry or domestic services.
  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and self-motivated as well as having excellent communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills, strong focus on safety and quality and a high attention to detail.
  • Flexibility is essential, as there may be a variance in daily schedules and be capable of working as part of a team as well as under their own initiative.
