LifeMine is searching for a full-time, seasoned program manager to guide a pre-clinical development candidate and a second discovery-stage program to the clinic and beyond. The program manager will work with the with a cross-functional hybrid team including representatives from pharmacology, toxicology, regulatory, CMC and clinical. Project management is a leader at the company. As such, the individual will serve as leader of the function with opportunities for further career growth.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the development plan and coordinate moving pieces to deliver on execution.
  • Work across all functions to develop timelines and budgets for asset progression, tracking progress; identify risks and any mitigations when appropriate.
  • Manage the vendor and collaborative partners including contracting and oversight of preclinical CROs and consultants when appropriate.

Job Requirements

  • BS, MS or PHD in pharma/biotech
  • 7+ years experience in early drug development (preclinical through Phase II) – involvement with small molecules a plus
  • Strong project management experience in early drug development
  • Experience working with CROs and virtual project teams
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively internally and externally, with the ability to manage external vendors
  • A track record of accomplishment effectively working with senior management
  • The ability to push timetables and manage budget while keeping the team motivated in a "results oriented" way
