ImmPACT Bio is a clinical-stage company, headquartered in the Los Angeles area, developing novel cell therapies for treating cancer and autoimmune disease. The company’s next-generation chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T cell technologies are based on Boolean logic-gate approaches and address key biological challenges for engineered T cell therapies including relapse due to antigen loss/escape; on-target, off-tumor toxicities; and the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment.

ImmPACT Bio is looking for an exceptional individual to join our growing team as Director, Medical Affairs. This position will report directly to the Chief Medical Officer and be responsible for developing and executing the Medical Affairs strategy at ImmPACT Bio.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute medical affairs strategy and maintain collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders including Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Business Development, Technical Operations, and other teams to achieve business goals
  • Broaden the ImmPACT Bio presence and network by strengthening scientific, academic, and KOL relationships
  • Deepen existing and establish new relationships with patient advocacy groups
  • Generate competitive advantages by addressing patient needs and understanding the competitive landscape
  • Deliver accurate, succinct, and timely communication of clinical and scientific presentations to healthcare professionals, proactively and in response to requests for information, in accordance with regulatory requirements and promotional compliance
  • Effectively conduct budget planning and tracking for the medical affairs function
  • Craft a publication strategy to include scientific abstracts and journal articles
  • Drive awareness of clinical trials and medical education programs
  • Facilitate communication with investigators, medical thought leaders, and cooperative study groups
  • Ensure that Medical Affairs activities adhere to company procedures and local regulations across portfolio
  • Oversee the development, implementation, ongoing assessment, and adaptation of strategies to enhance patient and provider access to transformative therapies
  • Includes other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Duties and responsibilities may be modified or changed at any time based on the needs of the business.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science with thirteen (13) years of experience, or Master of Science with ten (10) years of experience, or Ph.D. with six (6) years of experience or equivalent amount of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MD, PharmD, PhD, RN, NP, PA
  • Extensive and successful launch experience
  • Significant medical affairs experience
  • Knowledge of the complex regulatory, development, and medical affairs requirements in cell therapy

Location:

  • West Hills, California

Travel Requirements:

  • Frequent travel up to 50%+/-
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for business meetings and scientific conferences.

Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
Salary Range
$225,000$305,121 USD
