ImmPACT Bio is a clinical-stage company, headquartered in the Los Angeles area, developing novel cell therapies for treating cancer and autoimmune disease. The company’s next-generation chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T cell technologies are based on Boolean logic-gate approaches and address key biological challenges for engineered T cell therapies including relapse due to antigen loss/escape; on-target, off-tumor toxicities; and the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment.

ImmPACT Bio is looking for an exceptional individual to join our growing team as Master Production Scheduler. This position will report directly to the Director of Manufacturing and will be responsible for executing the Master Production Schedule (MPS) through timely material planning, production scheduling, coordination and effective utilization of available resources. This role will also support the Director of Manufacturing in various capacities, including but not limited to: generation and closure of GMP manufacturing investigation reports, coordination of high level manufacturing activities, and represent manufacturing in meetings as needed. As the organization grows, this role may work with the Director of External Manufacturing to support scheduling with key external suppliers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Schedules, resource loading and plant capacity requirements, coordinates production plans to ensure production materials are released and are available for production.
  • Reviews master schedule periodically to ensure supplies matches production demand; key contributor to the S&OP process.
  • Assists with timely and accurate planning of material requirements to support manufacturing.
  • Plans, schedules, and monitors movement of materials through production cycle.
  • As part of a broad cross-functional team, plays an integral role in implementation and maintenance of the ERP system, for scheduling, material management and report generation.
  • Determines material requirements for engineering runs and production runs.
  • Coordinates efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and Inventory Control.
  • Support accuracy of assigned data fields in material planning system.
  • Reports on a timely manner issues that disrupt production schedule to all key holders.
  • Participates in development of detailed, achievable production schedules, measures and reports performance to schedule.
  • Plans, schedules, and coordinates production through affected areas such as inventory control, manufacturing and project management.
  • Schedule and cycle count finished products in the Manufacturing area.
  • Responsible for generating high quality and timely CAPAs, deviations and change controls.
  • Work with the appropriate people from both the quality and operational organizations to develop corrective and preventive actions.
  • Must be able to fill in as need for management planning scenarios.
  • Must be able to: Multitask, be flexible, handle high-pressure situations, have strict attention to detail, and work in a close-knit team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Must have the confidence and ability to deal professionally with both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and incorporate changes seamlessly.
  • Scheduling Software, ERP, SAP, JDE, experience required.
  • This role will require advanced levels of information sharing and interactions with all functional areas across the company, including Manufacturing, Facilities, Project Management, and Clinical sites.
  • This is an onsite role that may require occasional off-shift support, including weekends.
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of related experience required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using ERP or other scheduling software.
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical or Biotech manufacturing is preferred.
  • Management of previous multiple work-center manufacturing schedules.
  • Basic knowledge of production and inventory control principles and techniques, using ERP.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Able to manage overlapping projects, keep track of deadlines, and efficiently use time to meet deadlines.
  • Able to cross-collaborate with multiple departments to drive the expected results.
  • Able to identify areas for ERP systems improvement in the Manufacturing scheduling and material processes, develop SOP's and implement changes.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (ERP system) and Graph Pad a plus.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow established policies and procedures.
  • Effective organization and planning skills.
  • Ability to perform problem-solving.
  • Competent in handling multiple tasks with attention to detail, and perform duties with minimal supervision.
  • Must have a high level of diplomacy and ability to relate and interact with personnel at all levels.
  • Able to work well with little supervision.

Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
Salary Range
$95,000$111,000 USD
