A Day in the Life
You will be a key player in overseeing the design, implementation, and upkeep of our on-premise IT infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be to cater to the unique needs of our scientific research and development software teams. You will get to work closely with a range of varied stakeholders and external service providers to ensure the smooth functioning of our systems. Your expertise in systems engineering will be crucial in driving improvements and maintaining the efficiency of our systems.
Who You Are
- With an impressive track record in Mastering Linux administration and solving complex networking fundamentals, you will ensure that our IT systems and supporting infrastructure are fine-tuned and run at an optimal level.
- You will relish being a go-to expert, being able to resolve complex queries and tackle challenging troubleshooting tasks to allow for short and long-term solutions.
- Provide invaluable technical insights and guidance to drive impactful decisions across various departments within Genomics plc, actively contributing to the company's overall technological advancement.
- Uphold the highest standards of information security, recognizing the criticality of the data handled at Genomics plc and ensuring its utmost protection, in line with the company's commitment to excellence and integrity.
