Position Summary

Editas Medicine is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Manager of Talent Acquisition & Operations. This strategic role will be instrumental in shaping the future of our organization by leading talent acquisition efforts, managing operations, and driving initiatives to enhance our overall talent strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

The Talent Acquisition & Operations Manager will be responsible for:

Talent Acquisition:

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive recruiting strategies to attract top talent for various positions within the organization.
  2. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and define recruitment plans.
  3. Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and negotiating offers.
  4. Foster strong relationships with external partners, universities, and industry networks to build a robust talent pipeline.

Operations Management:

  1. Oversee and optimize talent acquisition systems, ensuring efficiency and accuracy throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  2. Develop and implement programs to enhance the candidate experience and employer brand.
  3. Continuously refine and improve recruitment processes to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
  4. Collaborate with HR partners to align talent acquisition efforts with broader human resources strategies.

Data Management and Analytics:

  1. Utilize data and analytics to provide insights into recruitment metrics and trends.
  2. Generate regular reports on key performance indicators, providing recommendations for improvement.
  3. Implement data-driven approaches to enhance decision-making and drive operational excellence.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; Degree in a Scientific discipline is preferred
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition and operations, preferably within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations, compliance, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing talent acquisition programs and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in utilizing recruitment systems and analytics tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
