Job Summary

The Facilities Manager is responsible for the maintenance operations of the centers, and for performing repairs and maintenance at Crossover facilities and coordination of contractors as needed. The Facilities Manager follows established safety rules and policies and procedures of the facility department, keeps required records and submits them when required, and cooperates with other employees and department leads.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensures all patient rooms and public areas are properly maintained (furniture, wall covering, flooring, plumbing, lights, etc.) by walking through all areas of the centers on a frequent basis to identify any maintenance and repair needs.

  • Instills a high level of professionalism and directs the performance of contracted maintenance support.

  • Responds to all customer requests via ticketing system in a timely manner and within the metrics established.

  • Maintains the building and grounds in compliance with Federal, State, and local laws.

  • Coordinates testing of fire alarms and emergency systems as required by law and keeps required records of test results.

  • Performs preventative and corrective equipment maintenance.

  • Maintains required records and reports as outlined in the policies and procedures of the Facilities Department.

  • Participates in budget, controls and planning for the facilities department.

  • Orders supplies subsequent to manager approval via procurement system.

  • Attends meetings and participates in required committees.

  • Assists with office expansions, build-outs, furniture purchases and moves; coordinates facilities issues with architects and/or building management as assigned.

  • Assists in preparation and conducts pre-arrival and post departure inspections of offices and workstations for new employees and visitors.

  • Maintains records of security access badges and keys upon arrival and departure.

  • Maintains insurance documentation, current service agreements and specific building requirements for all contractors and vendors.

  • Ensures that the center adheres to the legal, safety, health, fire and sanitation codes by being familiar with his/her role in carrying out the center's fire, safety and disaster plans and by being familiar with current SDS.

  • Manages vendors in territory such as janitorial, maintenance and property manager relationships.

  • Gives hands-on instruction in basic maintenance, safety and troubleshooting procedures.

  • Demonstrates the proper use and care of tools.

  • Provides training and support and aims to expand the capabilities of operations staff.

  • Complies with policy and audit standards for safe storage, usage and disposal.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 3+ years experience in a supervisory capacity, in a facility/plant related position.

  • Must have a valid driver's license for the State of Residence.

  • Own vehicle (mileage reimbursement) to travel up to 50 miles per day

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates degree or greater preferred

  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including report writing ability.

  • Computer proficiency with Macbooks, MS Office, Google Suite and iOS

Physical Job Requirements

  • Expected to travel independently 75% of the time with extended trips up to 5-days at a time.

  • May require standing, walking and sitting for extended amounts of time.

  • Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.

  • Manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination

  • Includes full range of body motion.

  • Requires corrected vision, hearing and speech within normal ranges. Must be able to effectively communicate with team members.

The base pay range for this position is $83,478.00 to $95,999.00 per year. Pay range may vary depending on work location, applicable knowledge, skills, and experience. This position may be eligible for an annual bonus opportunity and comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off and 401K.
