Job Summary

The Director, Market Access CNS reports to the Senior Director, Market Access Marketing. The position leads the strategy and tactic development to our market access customers. This encompasses corporate approach recommendations for existing and emerging channels, bridging pipeline market access strategies to inline, above-brand initiatives and is accountable for all brand payer related initiatives for the CNS portfolio working closely with the CNS brand teams.

Job Description

- Develop and lead a cross CNS portfolio approach to market access customers
- Develop an CNS wide portfolio value proposition for market access customers
- Lead the team to develop and implement payer pull-through material
- Lead the team to develop and refine the payer value proposition for each inline brand
- Collaborate with Commercial team to ensure payer value drivers are incorporated into all payer marketing initiatives
- Continually evaluate Market Access strategies for pipeline products by partnering with Medical Affairs, Health Outcomes and the Market Access team while effectively bridging them to inline marketing support
- Direct Brand specific Payer/Advocacy Market research activities with CSI colleagues
- Manage Payer Marketing Brand budget resources
- Lead market access channel assessments and build recommendations on the best way to approach our existing channels
- Lead the assessment and development of new channel enhancement
- Manages key Agencies of Record to deliver tools and tactics
- Engages, informs and influences key stakeholders
- Collaborates closely with CNS brand teams

- Engages with Regional Senior Business Directors as the business dictates

- Contributes to the development of direct report

Qualifications/ Required

Knowledge/ Experience and Skills:

Required:
- Solid track record of driving market access initiatives within an organization
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a matrix team environment
- Excellent planning and strategy development while executing against tight timelines
- High emotional intelligence in managing multiple business initiatives and cross-functional relationships
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and project management skills

Preferred:
- Knowledge of payer and access stakeholder needs in the US preferred

*Travel is up to 20%*

Educational Qualifications

Required:
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited four year college or university (or the equivalent if education obtained outside of the United States)
- Minimum 8 years business experience in the healthcare, device or pharmaceutical/biotech industry

Preferred:
- MBA or Master's Degree
- 2-3 years minimum market access experience
