In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the launch of our endocrinology pipeline and have a significant impact on our commercial expansion.

We are seeking a passionate Student Assistant - Office Management to join our rapidly expanding global organization. As a member of our Iberian team, you will play a crucial role in bringing order and structure to many processes to operationalize our affiliate.

You will learn about the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry and will contribute to making a difference in patients’ lives.

You will be joining Ascendis Pharma Iberia, consisting of 5 colleagues initially, and you will help us grow to a team of >20 colleagues.

You will initially report directly to Nyssa Noyola, General Manager Spain/Portugal, who is based in Madrid. You will be based in the Madrid office as well.

We expect you to be in the office 2-3 days per week and expect approx. 20 hours of work/week.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Within this role, you will be responsible for the team’s administrative activities and office management.
  • Proactive support of our growing and active leadership team concerning all organizational and administrative tasks.
  • Responsibility as central contact person for employees in the Madrid office and field teams.
  • Planning and organization of appointments, meetings, conferences, travel, events (internal and external), meals, both in the office and in the field.
  • Day-to-day support with Purchase Orders, invoices, paying vendors, etc.
  • Setting up, maintaining, and optimizing of office workflows and processes.
  • Collaborating closely with the HR, Finance, and IT departments.
  • Tracking CRM data, sales data, etc. and creating dashboards and reports.
  • Commitment to making the office a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications and Skills:

You hold or are pursuing a relevant university degree, with graduate education a plus, and have experience working in an office environment.

You have pursued education in Business, Finance, Accounting, Law, Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry, or similar field, and you are interested in working cross-functionally.

Furthermore, you have:

  • Strong organizational skills combined with very good attention to detail.
  • Service orientation and enjoyment of supporting other people.
  • High level of Spanish and English language skills in speaking and writing.
  • Excellent user knowledge of common Windows Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
