Ascendis Pharma is a fast-growing biopharmaceutical company with locations in Denmark, Germany, and the United States. We are applying our TransCon technology to build a leading, fully integrated biopharmaceutical company with an independent pipeline of long-acting prodrug therapies that address unmet patient needs.
Your responsibilities:
- Effectively plan and launch all needed technology solutions for the upcoming country launches in Europe
- Pull through global technology platforms for the commercial space such as CRM, DAM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CMS, MDM and country-specific solutions
- Develop a digital launch playbook for country launches, and ensure that we learn and improve from launch to launch
- Participate in and execute on global digital initiatives
- Collaborate with other product teams such as supply chain and finance to ensure smooth planning for country launches
- Apply an agile mindset and behavior to effectively collaborate with release team and stakeholder(s).
- Effectively interfaces and communicate with senior management and all key stakeholders regarding product deliverables, risks, resources, and budget.

- European Commercial Organization
- Country affiliates
- IT Commercial Product Team
- IT Medical Product Team
- IT Commercial Data Team
Your Profile
You hold a relevant academic degree – minimum a bachelor’s degree from IT, Business Administration, Digital, Marketing or something completely different.
Also, we expect you to have 5+ years of experience from at related role in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related environment.
Furthermore, you have:
- Extensive understanding of medical and commercial IT space in life sciences – especially from previous European launches
- Experience in driving the successful delivery of digital products and platforms, including web and mobile applications
- You have been working in an agile team, relentlessly improving your working practices
Also, you are proficient in English at a professional level, both written and spoken.
As a person, you are a strong team player, proactive in nature and have a can-do attitude.

You will join the Ascendis Pharma Global IT, Continuous Delivery Organization, consisting of product teams delivering to business value streams. You will be part of the Commercial IT Product Team which consists of 6 people based in Copenhagen, Denmark, Princeton New Jersey and Palo Alto California.
The team is known for hitting all of their deadlines and supporting the commercial product launches in both the US and Europe while maintaining close collaboration with our commercial organization.
The European commercial organization, which you will be supporting as your primary customers, is based in Copenhagen Denmark and locally in our country affiliates.
On a daily basis you be in contact with colleagues from the commercial IT team in Copenhagen, Princeton, Palo Alto, and our maintenance partner in Barcelona. You will experience late afternoon and evening meetings.
You will report to Lene Larsen, People Leader of Global IT who is based in Copenhagen as well as to Ivanna Rosendal, IT Business Partner for Commercial and Medical in a matrix structure.
Travel: 25 – 35 days per year.
