As a Student Assistant in Finance Operations, you will work closely with both internal finance colleagues as well with rest of the organization and will have the opportunity to develop your cross disciplinary collaboration skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

You will become part of the Finance Operations team who are responsible for all accounting activities in the Ascendis Group.

The team you will be joining consits of 5 employees, including 3 Student Assistants.The team is characterized by a good team spirit, skilled employees and a fun work enviroment.

You will be reporting to Lasse Rønning. Senior Accountant in P2P Finance Operations, placed in Hellerup.

As our new Student Assistant, you will be helping with:

  • The daily process around procure to pay
  • The travel expense and reimbursement process
  • The Purchase Order creation and Invoice receival Process
  • Other related tasks within the Finance Operations area
  • Various optimization project within the procure to pay process

Your Profile

Ideally, you are in your beginning year of your Bachelor studies in the fields of Finance or Business administration.

You are a highly motivated individual who enjoys being challenged and working in collaborative environments, where you are able to structure, follow up on and complete your tasks.

Furthermore, you have:

  • Flair for numbers and structure
  • High level of reliability and attention-to-details
  • Strong work ethics
  • Good organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn

Experience in using MS Office, especially Excel, and ERP systems is an advantage.

Ascendis Pharma has recently implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365, which implies transforming our financial systems and processes. The tasks within Finance area will evolve, and it is therefore important, that you are eager to develop your competencies.

Also, you are proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Work hours: The average working hours is 15-20 hours per week. Note that, varying work hours is to be expected, especially during month closure.

Place of work: Ascendis Pharma headquarter resides in a modern and wonderful office facility in Tuborg Havn in Hellerup with a view of the harbor, the canals, and the sea.
