Position Summary:

The Demand Supply Planning team is seeking an analyst that will evaluate, develop, analyze, communicate, and execute analytics that will aid the department in key decision making and execution of projects. This associate will need to take initiative in identifying reports that require automation to aid in the Department’s process improvement goals as well as solution any gaps in current analysis. Teamwork and collaboration are key to making this position and Department a success.

The analyst will support monthly MBP (Monthly Business Planning) meetings and influence decision making based on the tools they develop. This is a remote opportunity that will operate on ET business hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Creates analytic quantitative tools and reporting post SAP transition to best support the monthly supply-demand planning cycle
  • Generates key Demand Planning & Supply reporting while working with significant amount of excel output data
  • Validates data extracts from SAP via BI & BW reporting prior to generating and publishing reports
  • Generates monthly forecast accuracy, cycle over cycle analysis and ad-hoc queries into a comprehensive report to support meaningful dialogue and decision making for both the Demand & Supply planning teams
  • Defines and maintains daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
  • Defines and maintains New Item and New/Lost Distribution Tracker for Demand & Supply Planning
  • Defines and maintains Display reporting for insightful analytics at both parent and finished good level
  • Defines & Maintains Product Hierarchy & Animal Farm Classification in APO DP
  • Attends and supports Lead Demand Planners in the monthly MPB Process for VMHS
  • Carryout’s various monthly functionalities in SAP/APO DP surrounding key calendar dates and activities
  • Trouble-shoot data received from coordinating systems (APO DP, BW, BI Reporting)
  • Leads the data management and analysis of current Excel reports for Finished Goods, Displays, and Bulk
  • Effectively communicates with the Demand Planning Leads on the outcome of analysis
  • Takes initiatives to automate various reporting and analytics to accelerate the process improvement curve and share compelling, insightful recommendations to meet business initiatives
  • Co-pilot Power BI Report development: Document policies and procedures based upon the business requirements and the final application solution
  • Assists in developing and executing new IO (Inventory Optimization) workflow

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of data management and analysis experience in Consumer Goods within Sales/Marketing and/or Demand/Supply Analytics
  • Proficient in Excel with the ability to create complex spreadsheets & formulas and synthesize information to create a clear synopsis of key issues
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite
  • Experience in supply/demand planning function, preferred
  • Relevant industry experience with consumer-packaged goods and consumer products, preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with external planning tools SAP, BW, Power BI, Oracle is beneficial

Skills:

  • Strong quantitative skills with the ability to develop and use metrics/graphs to lead root-cause analysis activities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment
  • Work collaboratively with multiple team members with focus on driving results
  • Must be detailed orientated, hands on, and work well in a fast-paced evolving environment while adhering to deadline and key calendar dates

The approximate pay range for this position is $70,000- $80,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
