Position Summary

As Accounting Coordinator, you will work on site at the new Williamsburg Township factory with the manufacturing and finance teams within the organization to support the processing of payroll, manufacturing master data setups, vendor setups and payments, and miscellaneous functions as related to payables and inventory receipts. In this role, you will identify, troubleshoot and resolve payroll errors and assist with production costing.

The first several months of this position will require travel for training purposes to other Nestle Purina factory locations. There will be little to no travel required once the Williamsburg Township facility is operational.

  • Perform all pay period payroll functions and related analysis, including review and reconciliation of new hires, terminations, salary changes, promotions, time tracking, manual checks, deductions and bonus payouts
  • Reconcile general ledger journal entries each pay period as well as perform continuous analysis of payroll processing including variances from prior pay periods, accurate punches, audit of punches and ensuring appropriate approvals
  • Coordinate with team leads to address timekeeping matters that require quick and accurate resolution
  • Understand, investigate and resolve all discrepancies with invoices and accounts payables
  • Address errors and verify accuracy of purchase orders from the purchasing department to ensure proper inventory levels and payments are processed
  • Perform period-end activities including accruals, purchase order tracking, reporting and other activities needed to close the books
  • Utilize Microsoft Office products and enterprise resource planning software to perform daily accounting functions

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ year of accounting, payroll and/or inventory experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment

The approximate pay range for this position is $37,000 - $53,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
