POSITION SUMMARY:

In a typical 24-hour production cycle, we conduct 30,000 documented quality checks involving ingredient/packaging, receiving, processing, and packing. That’s how much we care.

POSITION SUMMARY

As the Microbiologist, you will be responsible for managing routine microbiological evaluations of the factory production environment and processing systems. You will lead the factory in ensuring that all quality operations aspects are in place and high functioning including, but not limited to verification activities, documentation, and recordkeeping.

  • Oversee factory Pathogen Monitoring Program
  • Interact extensively with the operations group and influence, coach, and train all other factory personnel with regards to QA requirements and expectations
  • Responsible for the proper use and maintenance of lab equipment including the maintenance, cleaning, and calibration
  • Work as a team with other lab associates to achieve shift, department, and factory objectives


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ years work experience in a manufacturing, production, military, or related environment
  • OR Associates or bachelor’s degree in science related field (Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, related field)

The approximate pay range for this position is $39,000 to $57,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
