Position Summary

The Systems Operations Start-Up Lead will play a key role in supporting capital projects and initiatives to meet business, schedule, and budget objectives. This position supports the End-to-End Manager and plans, conducts, and coordinates operational requirement gathering, preparedness, and startup execution which includes the evaluation of business processes in partnership with Digital Manufacturing, equipment commissioning, and validation as applied in capital projects.

A key aspect of this role will be consistent collaboration with both internal and external partners including but not limited to Nestle Purina Engineering , Product Technology Center, Technical Applications Group, Quality Assurance, Safety Health and Environment, Human Resources, Product Supply, Digital Manufacturing, Factory Operations, Leadership, and Vendors.

  • Site design documents which illustrate clear deliverables for network design, data center, workstation placement and other Connected Worker principles.
  • Oversight of installations by in-house and/or third-party contractors which will adhere to Nestlé and Purina standards.
  • Infrastructure budget which includes equipment and installation line items.
  • Contribute to commissioning schedules with other OSLs. This is inclusive of the 30/60/90 design reviews.
  • Contribute to the overall application landscape as relevant to the capital project scope.
  • Procurement of equipment or supplies as identified above.
  • Ensure lines and equipment are commissioned and ready for production activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years’ of IT project management or related experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment.

The approximate pay range for this position is $92,000 to $119,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
