POSITION SUMMARY

As an IT Responsible AI Manager, you will be part of the IT Innovation team across Nestlé USA (NUSA), where you’ll ensure that artificial intelligence (AI) systems and technologies are developed, implemented, and used in an ethical and responsible manner. You’ll also ensure Nestlé standards and internal controls align with legal and ethical AI requirements as you represent Nestlé externally and contribute to development of industry standards and best practices.

  • Identification of opportunities for AI integration to enhance IT capabilities and drive innovation while evaluating emerging technologies and trends to inform strategy development
  • Coordinate and assist in the management of programs and partnerships between the Responsible AI Global team, internal Nestle teams, and external partners
  • Establish effective communication channels, business processes, and operational frameworks to ensure seamless collaboration and successful delivery of program objectives
  • Assess the potential risks associated with upcoming product releases that involve AI technology and evaluate the effectiveness of mitigation strategies
  • Gain extensive knowledge about generative AI technology, customer applications, and responsible practices in AI
  • Oversee, document, and facilitate the advancement of responsible AI standards across a wide range of Nestlé engineering, sales, and research teams involved in the implementation of AI systems in products, features, and customer interactions
  • Stay current on AI ethics trends, regulations, and public perceptions

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a combination of risk management, compliance, or information security
  • 2+ years of experience in a senior leadership role
  • 6+ months experience on AI/ML initiatives, with solid understanding of data science and machine learning/artificial intelligence

Others

  • Advanced degree in computer science, law, ethics, or related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of AI governance frameworks, ethics standards, and emerging regulations is preferred
  • Strong technical background to evaluate AI tools, platforms, models and data pipelines is preferred
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments and recommend controls is preferred

The approximate pay range for this position is $120,000 to $172,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
