JOB SUMMARY:

Provide professional and technical leadership in the identification, development, and implementation of digital manufacturing tools and solutions (for example: TrendMiner, Braincube, Poka, etc). Drive, facilitate, and support the Digital Transformation efforts in manufacturing with solutions that are seamlessly integrated into the day-to-day operations with the goal of enhancing factory performance and enriching the operator experience. Lead and train operations personnel in the factories and pilot plant on data analysis tools and solutions that facilitate troubleshooting and process improvement. Support pilot plant automation systems.

JOB RESPONSILIBILIES:

  • Leverage cutting-edge technologies and data-driven insights to optimize production processes, enhance operational efficiency, and accelerate innovation
  • Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with key stakeholders, champion the adoption of digital solutions, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and deliver tangible business outcomes
  • Technology Evaluation and Selection: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and evaluate their suitability for digital manufacturing applications
  • Technical Assistance to the Meals and Drinks factories, Innovation Platform teams, CAPEX projects, process troubleshooting, and other activities as required
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish monitoring systems to track the effectiveness of digital manufacturing initiatives
  • Represent Baby Meals & Drinks in the global E&A Network, competence evaluation, and competence development
  • Ensure Intellectual Property protection is considered on all technical advances
  • Support, maintain and enhance pilot plant automation systems to accelerate product and process development.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Knowledge):

  • Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or related extensive experience
  • Minimum 7 years process, operations, and manufacturing experience.
  • Strong project management skills including planning, execution, risk management, and resource allocation; Proven experience in leading complex projects and programs
  • Knowledge of process controls (both continuous and discrete), PLC, HMI, VFD, system integration required.
  • Strongly prefer knowledge of digital manufacturing technologies, such as networking, MES, IoT, and data analytics.
  • General knowledge of continuous process unit operations, heat transfer, fluid mechanics and the control of these operations helpful.
  • Contract negotiations skills specific to Intellectual Property
  • Business travel up to 20% based on project needs
