Position Summary:

As the Santiation Supervisor you are responsible for the proper Sanitation of the manufacturing facility to meet GMP and SOP requirements as well as lead 4 team members. In addition, you will develop, monitor, maintain, and improve facility sanitation program by identifying issues effecting efficiencies and assisting in developing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect for the respective area.
  • Work with quality to monitor and address pest control issues.
  • Monitors, audits, and drives sanitation productivity in conjuction with motivating teams quality of work.
  • Ensures completion and enhancement of Master Sanitation Schedule and execution of Sanitiation Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Complete internal and external CFR trainings to acquire qualifications as defined by corporate and facility sanitation standards
  • Ensures that approved chemicals used for the correct purposes and sanitation colleagues are using the correct PPE for chemicals and the tasks performed.
  • Manage sanitation chemical inventory and stocking of facility dispensers
  • Training of staff and leadership on applicable Standard Operation Procedures.
  • Ensures that all paperwork is properly documented.
  • Keeps accurate attendance records; files proper reports (accident, probation, etc…)
  • Influence, coaches and mentor associates.
  • Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or significant relatable work experience in lieu of experience.
  • 2-4 years of Supervisor experience.
  • Expertise in design and implementation of new process/procedures. (strongly preferred)
  • Ability to work weekend schedules and agility to adjust schedule as required to meet facility sanitation needs.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently to meet daily deadlines and objectives.
  • Microsoft Suite knowledge (Intermediate Excel - preferred) & ERP experience (SAP a plus)
  • Ability to utilize effective interpersonal skills to communicate and positively influence team members.
  • Ability to analyze numbers, determine trends, and make recommendations for actions to be taken.
  • Must be able to motivate and energize others to work toward the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with senior management, outside consultants, suppliers and associates.
  • Ability to successfully collaborate with support functions such as EHS, Quality, Maintenance, Production, Inventory.
  • Physical ability to lift, stand, climb, bend, etc.
