Position Summary


As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for moving finished products through the distribution system in our bustling warehouse. Day to day, you can expect to be loading and unloading trailers, pulling finished product from the production line, and case picking while operating a variety of equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks, pull packs, and more. Forklift operators must have open availability and willingness to pick up overnight on nights, weekend, and holidays as needed.

  • The ability to properly inspect and operate a slip sheet forklift.
  • Safely load/unload trailers ensuring weight distribution, load integrity, and all shipping instructions are followed.
  • The ability to understand storage and rotation procedures.
  • The ability to manually and electronically fill out appropriate reports, manifolds, and pallet tags.
  • The ability to identify bag labeling inaccuracies and notify appropriate personnel.
  • Assume all other duties as assigned by reporting Manager or Team Leader.


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of forklift operations experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, industrial, or military environment required.
  • 2+ years of slip sheet/ push-pull forklift experience required.
