As a Senior Manager Supply Chain Strategy – Warehouse Automation, you will be responsible for leading the strategy for our warehouse automation program. You will be working cross functionally with our factory teams, IT, digital manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering. You will be the primary point on contact for all escalations, issue resolutions and performance at our two automated sites and responsible for team executions of our future standardized go lives.

  • Responsible for team execution of standardized go lives.
    • Identifies, prioritizes, and defines the development of competencies required to ensure effective execution of start-up activities and prevention of failures.
    • Defines scope and approach of operational competencies to be developed.
    • Apply change management principles to lead new ways of working.
  • Sustain performance at current facilities.
    • Proactively address and communicate operational opportunities including escalations to global teams and vendors.
    • Build relationships with external suppliers, and internal stakeholders to assure technical requirements are met, documented, trained, and sustained.
    • Leverages multi-site relationship to establish best practices to identify opportunities & standardize where possible.
    • Facilitate and prioritize process improvement efforts to greatest extent possible for teams and team members with a focus on Nestlé initiatives.
    • Influence a team without having direct reports.
  • Use systems to provide real-time data to further assist teams with visual aids in understanding the current business vs. goals (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.), which will further identification and drive gap closure.
    • Manage and drive improvement through leadership, strategy & people development, and execution.
    • Identifies and facilitate corrective actions & learnings to lead reliable performance.
  • Define and clearly communicate strategy and plans to key stakeholders in supply chain & engineering for smooth project transitions.
    • Communicate with leadership to maintain alignment on program strategy and execution.
    • Coordinate with factory leadership and market teams to execute strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 7+ years’ experience in warehouse automation, supply chain management, manufacturing and factory operations or related field AND 1+ year leadership experience.

Other

  • 30% travel is expected.

The approximate pay range for this position is $146,000 to $182,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
