The Pre Weigher position is responsible for weighing out the product that takes more or less than a full bag. This position reports to the Team Leader/Warehouse Supervisor. In the absence of the warehouse support person, other warehouse support personnel will serve as backup.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:

• Schedule: 7a-7:30p and 7p-7:30a available with opportunities for overtime

• Starting hourly pay of $19 with a $3 night shift premium

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:

•Material Handling Equipment – Must be trained and certified on material handling equipment needed for assignment (sit-down). Must be able to keep material handling equipment under positive control and safe at all times. Must understand the limitations of the material handling equipment being driven. Must understand what the capacity plate is, and how it is used. Must be able to perform the pre-work inspection, including fluids check and adding of fluids if necessary.

•Battery Charger – Must understand how to use the battery charging equipment. Must understand how to properly charge and maintain the batteries including filling the water and completing required documentation.

•Adhere to Nestlé Health Science standards for storage of materials to include proper storage of allergens and organic ingredients.

•Train in the Nestlé Health Science HACCP program in order to identify critical steps and other instructions critical to effective implementation and maintenance of the Food Safety Plan.

•Support for the SQF 2000 System.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies and procedures
  • Basic math and computer knowledge and use
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and the ability to kneel, bend over, squat, stoop, and carry.
  • Ability to operate forklift and pallet movers.
  • Ability to work in a warm and dusty environment.

Skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail, neatness, and follow through.
  • Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic problems and take appropriate corrective action
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
