Position Summary

As the Production Manager you will be responsible for the overall management, direction and coordination of plant operations in carrying out the Company’s production objectives while being aligned with the 3 C’s of Delight Consumers, Deliver Competitive Advantage, and Excel in Compliance. The Production Manager delegates authority to key subordinates to ensure that Safety, Quality, Service, and Production objectives are achieved. This position directs the production activities involved in the transformation of raw materials into finished product, thereby having a direct impact on productivity, waste, and cost to the Company.

  • Direct supervision of wet plant personnel
  • Participate as a pillar leader for NCE, specifically TPM and Lean
  • Participate in long range planning of equipment and facilities to meet plant capacity needs and strive toward a zero-waste environment.
  • Model manufacturing excellence through implementing production goals and methods to achieve targeted delivery and quality requirements.
  • Develop staff and serve as an integral role in the management trainee program.
  • Provide subordinate personnel and salary change recommendations and justifications to the Plant Manager.
  • Support the behavior-based safety process through active participation in the ADI program.
  • Comply with and promote all Nestle, Nestle Purina and plant specific policies.
  • Embrace and actively participates in all Nestle Purina programs and Initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or engineering
  • 3+ years’ experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military, or related environment.

The approximate pay range for this position is $74,000 to $135,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
