Coordinator Prod Planning & Scheduling

3 MONTH CONTRACT

M-F, 7am-3:30pm 100% in the office Davenport, IA location

Provide daily and weekly support in the planning process for Dry Pet production, which includes entering information about available packaging supplies, substitutions, and incoming packaging supplies. In addition to making changes into SAP ensuring accurate execution of bag changes, and promotions such as coupons and drops.

Assist in acquiring products from other plants to support our production requirements.

Within SAP, build and maintain Bill of Materials, Master Recipes, and Production Versions to ensure uninterrupted production.

Provide daily and weekly support in the acquisition of packaging supplies. Coordinate the disposition of defective packaging.

Meet all quality and safety requirements when performing job duties. In the performance of purchasing functions, consideration and outreach will be extended to small businesses including minority and women owned firms.

1. MDE Duties: Build and maintain Bill of Materials, Master Recipes, and Production Versions in SAP as required. Track bag changes and activate in a timely manner. Accurately convert planned production orders into process orders. Remove obsolete material from SAP. Maintain and monitor various databases and associated spreadsheets. Work with other MDE’s in accounting, other plants, and support in St. Louis to acquire additional knowledge and skills.

2. Production Schedules: Update and save production schedules. Run various transactions for the production process. Create process orders for production repacks, reworks, rebundles, transformations and stickering projects.


3. Packaging Supplies: Support the Packaging Coordinator in daily tasks as needed. Process claims to request vendor disposition on defective packaging supplies.

4. Promotions: Order and coordinate the arrival of coupons and drops to ensure their availability as needed for production. Manage three (3) spreadsheets to ensure the quotas set by St. Louis are attained.

5. EOQ Duties: Order products from other plants to cover production short falls as needed. Maintain the daily inbound spreadsheet.
